Whoever is responsible for balance please watch this replay.

Somehow I suspect that recent duck projectile nerf is responsible for this horrible outcome

There was not a single instance of a Duck missing a target in this game due to the missile running out of fuel.

It's cheese alright, and quite good one in fact, but i'll wait until someone darkblue or purple bites it :P

lolol Niko is doing gnats now, truly he has embraced zk!
Seems like the ducks had a hard time hitting the wobbly stun boys. You probably need a pretty hefty turning buff to allow those missiles to hit huh?

I've been cheesed by gnat com plenty in the past. I've swum in salt.
Gnats did get nerf 18 months ago but still, if the enemy has no idea its coming and they're starting with cons (which everyone is) then they might be fucked.
Pootis got his com killed in a silly fashion, and Niko doesnt seem to know about spread attack order

I don't think Duck became worse vs. Gnat. The missile has trouble with hitting rather than running out of fuel too early. Maybe this is just something to be aware of with Amph.

Yeah, loosing because of one fucking Gnat, very fun, preem experience, do not recommend. Yet another reason literally everyone should boot this shit map into ban list.

Actually, in that game you lost because of one duck - the one that stopped just short of destroying the undefended enemy gunship factory that was making a Revenant on +2.2 energy income and which was the only surviving production unit of the enemy.

Gnat Liberation Front will hopefully put an end to this Constructor Imperialism and force some honest scouting back into the meta.

Like it's not about scouting, there's just no other proper way to play Prestige. You have to separate your commander away from the factory for the most effective routes, so you're vulnerable. So you either concede expansion every game now, or get screwed at least sometimes for free. Those gnats could've just as easily landed right on coms head, and it would've been over then and there. Scouting hills takes ages, hell the proper build is probably to just put the factory right behind center spawn into the water hiding it behind a corner and the opponent is none the wiser. Yeah, that Duck would probably win there, but its chanced, he too could've just as easily done a proper build order, going for base LLT, and spamming more Gnats for scouting since I didn't resign right away. I knew exactly what was going on the moment I saw that con, I knew that he does those builds, yet there's just the inevitable dice roll.

Prestige is a metal starve rps map. I could've happened to be Spider with Venoms and the game would've been over.

Back in the day not scouting the enemy factory in convenient locations would be sufficient for me to high-prio Lotus just in case.

Yes, but hill plop for Spiders here is a common and meta practice. Not seeing Fleas would be a bit weird, but con provides okay-ish radar from the upper platforms, and I know for a fact that some players just don't do fleas before ~2-3 min here. Again, remember, I got lucky seeing a con. So you have to check the hills.
