If this was a teams game it would be an imbalance, but in FFA I don't think it matters because there is no balancer in 1-player team FFA like this game.
If it was unfair it was for me as a winner because I get less elo.

The rank of the player is part of the scouting. Knowing what level the enemy is in a particular region, I plan the game.
