I just updated an older ZK version on a linux machine (didn't it used to update itself?) with the semi-portable file from itch.io. The configs were all overwritten, and that could have been somewhat disastrous if I cared about anything in them. IMHO, a player should be able to mindlessly replace all files and not have that happen. Can the config files be generated if not there instead of being shipped "as is"?
Also, the login screen now wants me to log in as Histidine now. Hm. Maybe that shouldn't be the case. Someone who doesn't know anything about
Histidine may think the UI is offering to create an account with that name.
