An idea from a lobster.

Is this a thing?

Use a literal lobster to throw snitches, one would use a plate; set it to repeat and tell the fac to guard the lobster

You let the lobster free fire but not move and you put it on a platform so stuff around/below it doesn't get flung.

You set the factory to free fire so if the snitches miss, then they just move a little and all is fine.

Is that a thing or did a lobster discover something new. You decide.

It's a rehash of the Newton ramp idea that has existed for 12 years, but maybe the insight here is that the Newton firezone widget could probably benefit from integrating Lobsters (automatically synchronize the launches or whatever).

The snitch ramp is a strategical bombardment option, the thing described here seems to be a defense turret with expensive ammo.

No newton is used, only lobsters

Seems like an extremely elaborate setup for very little payoff.

Won't the snitches get revealed as soon as the lobster throws them? I think so... could be wrong, but I think they do. If they do it means that they will just probably be shot while in the air as lobster throw isn't exactly strong.

You're better off using cloak or preemtively placing snitches in chokes or points of interest.

At least charon drops can move reasonably fast so even if the snitch is shot while flying, it flew close enough to the targets to deal damage.

I realize both of those are manual and your suggestion is "automated", but I wouldn't rely on something this complicated and that attack-move can probably defeat.

units get decloaked when being lobbed. valid for cloak from unit itself or area cloaker.
