Extreme lag and low fps on title screen/game/lobby

I don't know why I installed this game again I open it and the title screen is laggy as hell, the entire game is. I reinstall it and same problem. I played this game with my 3 year old computer which has decent hardware and I know it's not supposed to run this slow lol. I can run any game including bannerlord but this lags to infinity. Had the same problem last year and I forgot what the fix was. It's so annoying so if anyone could help please reply.

You should check your graphics option and set it to compatible and the settings will automatically choose to fit your GPU.

unfortunately, this did not work! set the option then restarted my game same problem

You don't really give enough information, so these are mostly guesses, but maybe one of them will help...
Turn off Steam overlay if you're on Steam.
Make sure your OS uses your fast GPU with ZK if you're on Windows and using a dual-GPU machine.
Make sure Windows is not trying to update itself, as this can suck the life out of even the fastest machines.
Turn on Full Speed Draw Updates for the Lobby.
Check for malware.

If you are on Windows

Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable, don't know if zero-k need it but doesn't hurt to reinstall it since many games do need it.
  • Start by uninstalling them, you want to do a clean reinstall
  • Go to "Apps & Features"
  • Search "Visual"
  • Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ <Year> Redistributable
  • Also uninstall Microsoft Visual Basic/C++ Runtime, if you have it
  • Download the latest from https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases
  • Install it

Update Directx (again)

Clean Reinstall Graphics Driver

Verify the game!
  • If you are using steam, just verify the game files....
