when a unit dies, its projectiles deals no damage.

With what unit? I just tried this with an Impaler and the missile that was in flight when it died still inflicted damage.

This can happen to projectiles that don't deal friendly fire (like commander disruptor bomb). IIRC Zero-Wars also has most weapons affected for some technical reason that I don't remember.

i think i have seen similar behavior in normal games but i don't really remember the details...?
like some random dead unit projectile comming for my commander but dealing no damage upon hit... tho it wasn't shot from an artillery unit.
i'll make sure to pay more attention to that next time.

however this issue prevail in zero wars. easily reproduceable there.

I remember giving projectiles teamID back when lua save was being worked on, so that antinukes couldn't be disabled by saving and loading the game. So projectiles definitely retain the information required to deal damage to enemies after their owner dies. But maybe the teamID doesn't make it into the callin used for friendly fire prevention, or ZeroWars uses an outdated version of the gadget? I just checked, and Outlaw doesn't die when it is killed, so ZK doesn't seem to have a good fix for this either. Might be an engine request.
