Is this a good counter for the classic tank setup?

To me, the classical tank setup is 5-10 minotaurs, 1-2 ogres, some emissaries, and 1-2 cyclops. I wanted to know if redbacks + aspises is a worthwhile combo to fight minotaurs, since i have had a lot of success with this combo in the past.

this feels very much like a teamgame issue tbh, but looking at that estimate, thats at 850*5+500+800*2+2200 thats at least 8.5k in units.

best answer is lances, gets you 7 at least, if you dont have lance, spider has widow recluse and (pillared) crab

tho for flat terrain spider v tank matchup is unlikely (cept TANKMIND), rovers have dominatrix which does have great synergy with aspis ig

Hunting for riots is a ridiculously fun approach for raider-focused matches. Take out the ogres, and the battle becomes one-sided, forcing either a retreat or a commitment.

If the tanks aren't shielded, you can just build Placeholder Skuttle and invalidate their existence. Note that a single Minotaur costs more than a Placeholder + Skuttle combo, so it's even cost-effective, especially if Placeholder catches multiples at once.

But yes, shielded redback is good because it's a very high-dps, high-range riot that gets given free EHP and license to move freely instead of skirming.
