It feels like shieldbots have finally stopped seeming overpowered, after years of whining under my leadership. I thought that it should be important to make a public conclusion.

In team battles, having multiple shieldbot factories seems redundant, as shieldbots are equipped with effective anti-shieldbot tools like snitches and racketeers. This means that in team vs team battles, when the players can afford building shieldbots, the shieldbots naturally take an anti-shieldball role rather than a shieldball role.

Furthermore, in 1v1 battles, it seems as the prevalent strategy every time is to attack shieldballs early, to not get emotionally manipulated to "idle it out," and win a swift battle. Shieldballs are the most vulnerable to rushes, as all of their units lack power unless they scale with numbers.

It's probably good to say something nice about the balance, especially with new tyrant factories showing up. (Looking at you, Revenaunts. Time for another team effort.)
