Is Arena mode counting for casual?

malric 44 hours ago (edited 44 hours ago) After playing 2 Arena mod games, my elo suddenly tanked (but played more games, so not 100% sure). Should/do the games count for casual? Stuart98 41 hours ago (edited 41 hours ago) Any modded game (Arena, Tech-K, Zero Wars, Future Wars, etc) should probably be forced to use noelo, games that aren't normal ZK shouldn't count for casual rating. In fact, this should also be the case for any game that has 3 or more teams. +2 / -0
malric 37 hours ago So people complain about smurfs, but you can lower the ELO by playing mods that you (might) have no clue about? This sounds very confusing. Is the official position that mods should be included by default in the Casual ladder? +1 / -0
Shaman 14 hours ago FW already opts out of elo at the mod level. It always treats itself as noelo due to the code. +0 / -0
Aquanim 13 hours ago (edited 13 hours ago) I don't believe mods are generally supposed to count for any rating, but the room system does misbehave. It can probably be fixed retroactively, with some effort. +0 / -0
