I've been looking for a way to rip the zero-k 3d models, i want to try and revamp them and make them more detailed, i have no idea if this is the right place to ask

Zero-K uses 2 3D formats: .s3o and .dae
And 2-3 .dds textures per unit: 1)color + team color, 2)roughness + metallic + emission + boolean transparency and 3)normals(optional)
You can use Blender for 3D modelling. 4.5 and lower versions have native support for .dae and few plugins for .s3o
For textures you can use Gimp or Photoshop. Those also have plugins for .dds images

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of where zero-k actually stores default models? i looked through the zero-k steam folder and couldn't find it and i didn't see it in the documentation, although maybe i missed it
