What if instead of resigning faster than the missile hits, you instead build a wall to block it faster than the missile hits?

if been ahead makes you easier to lose, that means if youre ahead, that makes your opponent ahead, so they are ahead, not you

hmm there are some ways what he said can make sense..

ATTACKER
Pros:

Larger armies that can smash hardened targets +++

Better contingencies and adaptations +++

Ability to strike enemy critical targets +++

Safer allied critical infrastructure +++

…etc.
insert huge list of reasons wiining is better..

DEFENDER
Pros:

Can produce counters to revealed advancing forces (free scouting).

Can produce units that focus on turtling and holding ground (e.g., Desolator or Crabs). (Playing for time is probably a losing battle if the enemy counters with eco or siege and doesn’t overextend.)

Smaller frontline allowing more consolidated forces (better flank resistance).

Shorter replenishment times for reinforcements (faster recovery).

Better flanking and guerrilla-tactics opportunities (because the attacker has a wider frontline with reduced per-unit micro).
