I know it's a meme and it's not used very frequently, but in your head in your head what's in your heeeeaaddddddddd?

Apparently it's pathing hell. Each zombie has a giant queue of move attack commands and when you get a bunch of corpses, it's a very heavy load of pathfinding requests all at once. Maybe they should only have one attack command at a time, or at least something more sensible?

the cranberries would prefer that people understood the metaphor and the struggle of families loosing loved ones to the horrors of war.. but im sure you do understand..

stacked fight orders might be a less expensive way to allow the ai to function long term. zombies dont even seem to react or retreat so just giving them a stack of fight orders saves scanning unit states or bool checks on needing a new set of orders
