i don't need help; i fixed it by starting a multiplayer game by myself
pretty sure this is the same issue as
https://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/39408sooo i had a skirmish game open and for some reason the pause menu and its corner of the UI disappeared. after restarting zero k and starting another skirmish, it wasn't opening the commander selector
after some frustration i remembered that i've had this happen before, and it went away when i played a game with friends. so i made a multiplayer lobby and started a game by myself. sure enough, the commander selector is back. and it's also back in skirmish mode.
is this a known issue?
