I've been starting custom chicken games with 94.1 (needed due to Linux instability issues on 91.0) using:

/msg Springiee !spawn mod=Zero-K v1.1.4.4, title=whatever, password=whatever
[join]
!setengine 94.0
[join]
!setengine 94.1
[join]

The crazy engine jiggle is because it doesn't allow me to change directly to 94.1. Anyway, after a few minutes the game stalls and starts logging "Reconnecting to server..." indefinitely. The UI still seems to be active, scrolling and everything works, just the game appears paused.

This happened 3 or 4 times in a row until we gave up. Two of us are joining are experiencing identical issues at the same time. What is happening?

You are not alone in having this problem. I had this a lot yesterday intermixed with segmentation faults.

Same for me. Depending on map size between 5:20 and 6:40 minutes in game the game stalls and a few minutes later it's autoquit: lost connection to game server. Happens at least since yesterday, around 1200 UTC.

Got infolog and replays?
+0 / -0
I dont think that replays of the exited battles will exist because they were automatically quit. I cant provide an infolog myself because my 91.0 infolog does not seem to be recording anything. Hopefully others will have information to shed light on the problem.

EDIT: I should also mention that this happens on 91.0 and 94.1.

There will be a local save of the replay. Look for it in your ZK folder.

The checksum failure is normal.

What? No it isn't.

I recall some dev explaining how it was normal... Let me see if i can find it...

Having the same issue while running 94.1 now, heh

Unfortunatly that leafes us with disconnecting games and no clue why. However it explains why wrong checksums are only a warning (it's the first time I encounter a case where a wrong checksum is indeed not an error).

Infolog and replay here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/avjm0svv7ntp72m/ciCztztj3l/Zero-K

Watching this and two other replays the problem occurred around 3:40-3:45 (220-225s) game time each time. So that seems suspicious.

Just happened again, this time at ~3:20. I was slower to start the game so wondering if it could be some kind of timeout on the Springiee.
To be clear, this is happening in every game that I spawn this way.

Could it be a server sided problem? did somebody change something around friday?

Seems likely to me, related to !setengine perhaps? For that matter why can't I just !setengine directly to 94.1? Do other people have this issue as well?

What would be really sweet would be a way to specify the engine in the original !spawn :)

I have also had problems with !setengine.

you may have a point. I could directly switch to 94.1 during last week and did not have any problems.

Also, it was stated that Oxygen Host could host 94.1, but... I haven't seen anything anywhere stating how to get use that to host o.o
