Get a slasher commander. Laugh in their sorry faces.

Any option that doesn't involve RPS?

They all involve building. I didn't watch this yet, but why couldn't you build stuff?

If he had so many blastwings that each impacted less than 8 seconds from another (time requirement to build a Defender at commander's full BP), then you've lost anyway.

He just kept sending them 1 by 1 so i couldn't build defenders
I was hover so I didn't have any cheap counter for that

So, i've watched the replay. Sfireman had a limited supply of drones because he was spending all his starting cache on them, so you didn't need to hold off indefinitely.

Your first scrubber killed three! That's an amazing number and an effective counter, actually. But you stopped making scrubbers after your second.

Your second scrubber didn't see the drones before they hit, so you could/should have placed them further away to stop damage being done to com/factory, at least forcing the enemy to be inventive with attack paths -- and losing precious time.

You could have also walked a bit with commander, making it less easy to target, or have dug it in to make targeting that extra bit harder. Unsure if digging would have really helped though.

Tl:dr, sacrifice raiders until you get a defender up.

---

That's in 1v1 context. In teams, there was enough time for your allies to make scorchers and get to his base - a slasher costs just one second more, and would have to travel less to defend you.

---

And yes, battlecom would have probably worked; so would a missile com; both are pregame rps, so invalid.

Cost of one Scrubber: 85m
Cost of one Blastwing: 55m

Both units can one-shot the enemy. Both units can kill multiple enemies due to Blastwings aoe, but my guess is that BWs will have an advantage.

I think Defenders and allies were your only chance.

... issue being that defender costs 8s to put up, which was not provided, and there are no allies if you do this in 1v1.

Sacrificing a few raiders could, though, allow enough grace for defender to go up in time.

There's more than enough time to build Defenders before enemies arrive, unless boxes are messed up. I don't care about 1v1. Raiders have a lot of trouble catching up with Blastwings.

You haven't watched this, have you.

I did. Storage wasted time walking and queued an LLT instead of a Defender. Two mistakes he shouldn't repeat.
