I try it. For this purpose, a first question? Why do I need the 4 "new"
Commander?
I mean, I would describe myself as experienced enough call that I can say that something like this is unnecessary for me. So a coach. Therefore bother me these new Commanders.
They make the whole Menüe confusing. It's okay if beginner see this. I an "old hand" does not want to see the crap anyway.

Bring back the old menu!
I miss the big pictures of my trollcoms.

It doesn't look too bad IMO. The trainer commanders have weird module selections though.

I like that the new menu is smaller and doesnt take up 80% of the screen, but give an option to hide noob commanders.

I prefer the looks of the new one. I also like the idea of having "trainer" comms for newbies, but like @Faelthas suggested there should be an option to hide them.

I like it, but there are many things which need perfecting before this.

I much prefer this over the previous design. It's clean, it's simple, it feels like part of the UI rather than some obnoxious overlay. The only issue I have is that the opacity on the tooltip is way too low, which makes it hard to read the modules.

Other than that, the only thing I could possibly suggest as a nice-to-have feature would be a line along the side of each commander selection button showing the first 4 upgrade module icons in order, about the same size as the flag and clan icons on the webpage (~25x25), maybe also the skin (as a coloured/textured square), but given that this action isn't that time-sensitive, I'd say it works fine now.

Unless they are bugs with this design, they aren't relevant. This work isn't detracting from bug fixes (and is arguably a fix in itself, for UI design).

Actually the effort it took to make these changes in the idea of seeking improvement agredece user. However, in this case, and my personal opinion, I see this new menu not an improvement but a setback, the former was shocking and enjoyed greater visual perception. Perhaps showing new icons added in a second row would have a better finish.

Again, thanks for your effort guys.

Putting the Trainer comms on a separate row wouldn't be a bad idea.

Anyway, this is still a central UI element. It isn't overwhelming everything else, but it is still central and still draws attention, while still looking like part of the UI rather than a totally separate window laid over top. The commmander icons also work nicely with it, rather than clashing with the rest of the UI as the old commander pictures did.

The forums seem to be a bit different in that regard. I like how there is support for making decent default comms.

Imo the new menu is much better graphically.

But as I said in Commander Junior unlocking some modules by default with prebuilt coms is better than static "trainer coms", because trainer coms allow for less customization and make it unnecessarily complicated. And the configuration of those trainer coms is a bit strange.

Morphable commanders for Newbies are nice.
But I tested the Recon com. Either it's my playstyle or it's not good at all. I thought it's not worthy to spend all that metal for morph.
Maybe it's only my own problem and others like this com. I don't know.
I didn't test the other coms now.

How about making these "Trainer commanders" the default commanders for new players' commander page? As players unlock chassis and modules they can replace trainer commanders with their own creations.
