concrete slabs, diggers

In ะก&C players can protect territory with concrete slabs from fucking/annoying diggers and from terraforming caused by explosions.

1. I am asking for option to disable chickens' diggers. It is less than 30 or even 15 minutes of work.

2. Concrete slabs, in addition to full protect from diggers, may protect from non-intentional terraforming only partially, or there may be several kinds of slabs (with various strength, cost, building time).

RUrankHuj to protect from diggers, built LLT all through your base.

To avoid diggers entirely, build a bertha (and four adv rader to eliminate all radar wobble) as soon as you can. Bertha is perfect for sniping Roosts to increase your aggression rating, and thus decrease the chicken's tech timer. Bertha also requires no energy, so you can begin construction any time.

I suspected such answer.

I did not ask how to avoid diggers (using existing arsenal) of how to fight vs them.

Seems 15 was too low, I'll keep hopes up for 30!

Edit: uh-oh, not 30 either! Those fucking lazy devs, how dare they!

Also how could some concrete stop diggers anyway...

I think RUrankHuj is suggesting something like Dune RTS, where the planet is sand and you build concrete floor to avoid getting eaten by giant sand worm.

In ZK term, it might be something that make terraforming expensive for enemy. Its like putting Razor on a wall to prevent enemy terraform it down, but in proper way, not like hax.

Start a dune mod :)

Unfortunately, you'd get slapped for IP violation, but look, all you have to say is "my game is based in Not Original Dune Universe (NODU)".

A wise man once said:

Anyway, if units are annoying you just kill them, I heard that's how the pros do it.

I'm going to need something more than "one particular guy doesn't like them for unspecified reasons" to remove diggers.

Afaik Huj asked for the option to remove diggers. Chickens are for lulz anyway, so the only reason not to do it would be to avoid possible option bloat.

Also, lol, good one ;D

If i recall correctly diggers were added so that chickens could penetrate defence lines somehow and thus making it less of a trenchwar (wich works to some extent as they can snipe singus and whatnot).
C&C didnt have terraform.

Diggers are close to the chickens only way to punish lacking player aggression against a dense frontline (in e.g. long maps). Aside from simply overrunning over...flying(?) them with their arsenal of nasty birds.

In "Tiberian sun" terraforming from explosions is present. Concrete protect from terraforming by powerful Ion cannon, but i don't remember about all kinds of explodings.

I thought he meant kill as in in-game kill them

The "I need something more..." was not in response to "just kill them". The latter was a quote from Skasi meant exactly like you proposed.
