Jasper 14 years ago I would reduce the number of mex. The mex that are in groups of three mess up area mex. Half the mex would make this play better. Also maybe change the way center hill looks. More cliffs on all sides. Now that it is small size. +0 / -0
sprang 14 years ago I wouldn't go reducing the number of mex, being the same as DSD in as many ways as possible (but ridiculously tiny) is the thing of this map. It's unfortunate that area mex breaks though, yeah. It makes mexes on this map that give 0 income. Seeing as the map is rather silly and areamex breaks, I'm not sure it should even be official. But it's ok either way. +0 / -0
Jasper 14 years ago Well DSD has so many variants. Not sure that a few changes would keep this from being DSD. But I agree that in its current state it should probably be unfeatured. +0 / -0
Anthem 14 years ago What causes the area mex problem? Would it be fixed if the mexes were a bit wider and less rich? +0 / -0
Jasper 14 years ago Going to unfeature unless people object. Reasons 1: Area mex broken 2: Does not fit with the idea of featured maps being serious believable planets 3: Very porcy +0 / -0
sprang 14 years ago I just wanna point out that areamex works on this map now, in the latest test version. Great work Google. Still, no objections about unfeaturing from me. +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 14 years ago Featured maps are believable planets? I thought they just had to be good and non-lolmaps. +0 / -0
mojjj 14 years ago ...and this maps texture are not really ugly or unbelieveable, are they? +0 / -0
Skasi 14 years ago Jasper, "featured" does not mean a map is a "serious believable planet". That's what the Planetwars image below Springie commands is for! +0 / -0
