I
suggest
neem
oil
for
dealing
with
insect
infestations.
You
can
buy
the
oil
extract
itself
for
quite
cheap
on
amazon
and
then
dilute
it
with
water
in
a
spray
bottle.
Conventional
insecticides
are
usually
quite
harmful
because
they
stick
around
for
much
longer
than
they
should
in
the
ecosystem,
killing
native
pollinators.

Conventional insecticides can also build up in the water table, messing everything up in the long run. Neem oil doesn't last as long but it lasts long enough to kill most pests, and you can always reapply it in the event it doesn't work perfectly the first time.
