The Guard command is used to order units to follow a unit, and in the case of units with nanolathes to assist or repair the unit. Default key is G.
The command also has an area version called Circle Guard with the following modifiers:
- Drag to make selection form an even circle around a target.
- Ctrl while releasing the circle to ignore other units circling the target while circling.
- Alt while releasing the circle to make selection form a concave in a cardinal direction.
- Alt + Ctrl while releasing the circle to make selection form a concave in a direction according to the unit's facing.
