hmm, sorta bug at 13:40, north, amph factory is half-submerged, halberds are shooting at it, but cannot hit it.
I feel like they should either not shoot at all (it's underwater) - or shoot & hit.
some testing: -40 can be hit, -48, -55, -63 are bugged, -69 can't be targetted.

Smog factory has a height of 70 Elmo's, which means the halberd weapon LaserCannon is probably aiming at 35 Elmos high, instead of some place above the water. All units aim at one point inside of a unit in the engine by default, and I'd say any other way requires some measure of hax.

Underwater aim positions are dealt with iirc. I wouldn't trust any explanation not back up by some testing and experimentation.

Aimposition is moved to the top of the water, even though colvolume is fully submerged. In my tests, the breakpoint is between 65 and 67 height, which is 65.21 AKA

sqrt(x^2+y^2+z^2) where x,y,z is half the value of a cube's, so 2nd look I guess is like before, probably the engine shortcuting a box to a sphere.


Following Googlefrog's observation, it seems to be more closely tied to y=-(modelradius) - 6 as minimal hieght that's attackable, further testing required.

Maybe the grey sphere could be smaller. Try a sideways cyllinder?
