Just after 18:00 my Licho is shot down. With -127 health it appears to be crashing, then reanimates and lands on a repair pad. There it is repaired and, when at 100% health, it dutifully explodes :S

Probably a known bug/limitation but I haven't seen it before.

That's a good question. Also this is not the first time such an event occured, there have been reports of Krows being abducted by UFO's earlier.

Before anyone shouts conspiracy, i'm going to blame this on weather balloons, or errant collision behaviour of aberrant kind that Spring is known to produce sometimes.

If the disappearing Krow was repair pad related it is no longer relevant.

IT was not about repair pad, it was just flying at 60-80% hp (was retreating after attack) and bang, it disapears (map was icy run)
I posted a comment on that game, i mean seriously you guys dont like my game comments, thats why you didnt find the bug with game link.
