Probably the most insane game of this year...
Nuke, detriment, paladin, lots of catapuls and porc... couldnt be possible without +8/+8 com income I bet..

So, was the notion that people would enjoy the cramped games more when each player can do more correct?

Ha, people probably are enjoying this games more - now you can actually make units in those insanely large clusters... (thx to increased com income)

But it's treating the problem that should have never existed in the first place, honestly. 16v16 is just not meant to be, especially on large ass maps. Late game will always be unacceptably laggy for many players

Though it can be fun playing large cluster games on small maps, I'd say way more fun with this increased base income from coms.
It's the same as with metal mult of 2x with one noticeable difference - u can affect this metal mult in game, by killing their coms. So at the very least if you rollback to +4/+4 or to +6/+6 I'd like to see a modoption, something like !setoptions comincomemult=2

I think this is the first time I saw a Detriment do its job and assault ultimately.

I did not watch replay. Why is the game insane? Did you not insult players and you did not resign so fast?

Not sure the Detriment made cost there...
It also did 90% of its damage in its death explosion, as always. :D

That unit needs a little something to prevent it being a bot version of EErankAdminAnarchid's armoured nuke.

The only way to nerf Detri nuke without nerfing its combat potential is nerfing the nuke.

(And replacing it with a long death animation where it falls apart piece by piece)

Buffing the actual weapons in turn to compensate would be great.
