You need more than 5 to counter a Zenith or DRP (both will get through in a minute or two).

That said, I'm aware that the recharge rate for the Funnelweb is too high and am still working on a solution.

The solution is to actually build raiders to clean up the Funnelwebs, not just shine a magnifying glass on it.
