Every time I join a game with springlobby, it kicks me out and warns me about having spring version 91.0(I have version 91.0!). Springlobby wants me to update to version 93.0(Which is incompatible with zero-k). Can you bypass this somehow in the settings?

Same problem apart from being kicked. I have to root through my hard drive to find 93.x, join the game and then find 91.0. It would be good if springlobby worked like NOTA lobby on this.

add:
DisableVersionCheck=1
to your .springlobby/springlobby.conf
in the [SPRING] part

the warn message will occur anyways... but you will be able to join

Cant remember if I disabled or not checking in Notalobby through configs, but it doesnt bother me with any warnings. Anyway if you are on windows just use ZK lobby, or Notalobby if on linux.

Dont know if its me alone or it depends on map count, but springlobby EACH time it starts does something with HDD for like 5 mins, it also crashes and lags to me very often, plain annoying.

I have had the same problem.

There's a good link to several solutions here :

My advice? Try the weblobby.springrts.com.

As for my solution, I just set the engine executable to 94.1 in the preferences menu, then set it back to 91.0 when I log in.

Were you ever able to figure out a few good games?

Also, how did you find out about Spring and Zero-K?
