What's the best way to counter this strategy in 1v1?

Comnap is countered by moving the com so it cannot be picked up. This is countered by using EMP drones on the com first. The problem is that Hercules cost has been increased from 500 to 750 and EMP drones can be destroyed by units nearby.

DErankBrackman I tested that with a friend but it seems random whether or not the com will be picked up. Is there a particular pattern you need to move the com in?

Transport can pick commander only if it stays still. If commander moves it can't pick. Only if commander briefly stops by some reason like you giving him command to move and he stops to turn (sometimes it happens).
If comnaper also spawns gnats then it will just stun and take commander in few moments.
You need support units near. Like raiders or riots which can target transport and kill it.

Looks like movement countering transports was not always working correctly. I've fixed it.

Moving against a transport is uncomfortably arcane knowledge. It has been suggested that enemies only be vulnerable to transports when stunned, but I'm wary of removing more than just the annoying interactions. Transporting static enemy units lets Hercules display Crab and pickup heavy units when they are hit by Placeholder. The requirement to move also disrupts constructors.
