Not sure if its because:

1. i suck hard

2. arch created the best zk ai to date

or 3. kodachi is op with this much micro

Or maybe its all 3 XD

Evidence suggests that the AI in question is Circuit, and it is not completely in control. The human probably contributes quite a lot of high-level planning and tactical micro.

Would be a nice touch to publish it.

Ai guided play is actually a quite neat idea. This can also help the initial Ai developement as people notice and correct faults which the Ai makes in its current state.

...or you could just try to learn the game yourself and have fun. I honestly believe that more automation will kill this game. I mean, why don´t we all get wheelchairs? Tech makes life more comfortable. Sure.

Anyway, i think Wesleys mistake was to rely on blitz for defense. Your builders can fight of single glaives well enough.

My feeling is, Archangel made something the 0K developers like.
But, the way Archangel have been using this mod is cheating.
He did say he wants his own games with the Spring Engine.
But, personally I wouldn't play it cause I think he is an asshole.

I agree about the cheating aspect, not about assumptions about USrankArchangel s character.

It's not cheating unless devs rule it as such.

Its not cheating when both players agreed to it being used

Ok, I think I took it a bit far to call it cheating, and may be I have some bad chemistry with Archangel (not an asshole).

The code of conduct actually allows widgets to move your units for you--like the unit AIs. This just takes it to the logical conclusion of having an AI play most of the game for you. That is fine.

A lot of the players don't know about widgets, and that is fine too.

THIS IS FINE.

Wrong. If devs rule something as cheating, it still counts as a punishable offense even if both parties playing agree to it being used.

i think such widgets should be standartised for both players to guarantee a symetric game or zk transforms into code-wars. i mean, fine if you want it that way, but:
1. it would be sad about the current game.
2. designing the game as symetric unit-wise would make no sense anymore.

if it used ai it's not based on merit or ability. damn it even if both party's agreed it is not.

So what exactly did Circuit AI do here? Build 3 Lotus and a Faraday in the base and kill 2 mexes. Most of the AI controlled raiders died without killing anything. All the defense was completely misplaced as Archangel was controlling the front and should've naked expanded.

as said, it´s not about the actual thing AT THE MOMENt, but it´s about principals.

I think we are really asking if this direction is worth exploring or to be shut off completely.

We know this implementation is not very good.
But what if the AI can be made to just manage the economy and none of the army and defensive structure?

You don't want this to be published yet cause you know it changes the way the game is played for some people. Yet we have this one guy using this cause he knows how, so it is like a legal loophole.

And how do we feel about loopholes? Meh~?...

Better AI would be nice.
Having AI manage some of the repetitive stuff would be good.
