This game was soul destorying to play...

We (Team 1) had control of middle-map, had +2 mexes loads of reclaim, and should have been significantly out eco'ing Team 2.

But we couldn't seem to work as a team to push on their porc.

I feel I was doing my bit... secured mid, porc'd up, desolator, funnels and merlins to hold the ground and support an attack... but my team never turned up.

OK, so I gotta take some responsibility myself... what should I have done better/differently in this situation?

I feel like I did my bit and the rest of the team weren't helping much, but clearly it wasn't sufficient...

ZK Rule N1, never expect your team to do anything. You feel like something needs to be done, ask someone in mumble or do it yourself.

I and few others pushed good at the start, nearly to their factories, but then they got their lances and artillery ready, sure, should have continued but I looked back and saw idle units and a toad building defences. Meh.

Then came jummys lances. My army got lichoed and skuttled, I feel like my units are hated. Enemy made the tactical nuke thingy. My aspis decided to attack the enemy. We shoulda pushed but someone was making desolators. Enemy had shields and cloakers.

I got to their bases few times, but we made desolators. Desolators who killed our own merlins I believe.

Also doggystylus was good with skuttles.

And the red boiling blood is lava? I think I blew my skuttle army on that, I dont know...

And enemy made bertha. This map sucks.

dont complain. i've lost a game were we had +10 to +20 mexes (SSB) but my ally insitsed on "defending" (a.k.a. go afk and do basicly nothing. he had 3 reefs, 2 shoguns, a bizzilion corsairs and a paladin)

just know some people have it worse than you.

Is an ok map, but not for so many players. Turns into a porc/arty wars in mid with isolated and easily defended flank routes. For such a small map games can last a really long time.

Looking at this lubster stack i don't even wonder why dat happened.
If u had no air then its already gg in most cases (of course if enemy air isn't dumb).
GBrankDoggystylus already long time practicing skittle. Trying to pretend mojjj successor? Nop, there is one still better - FRrankSlaab.
Ah and maybe there was old phenomena in ZK - in late game most players (even some of top players) starts doing shit around like they had no any plan or they are confused. This one tick in late game and entire team starts spam useless units or do useless things.

Late game I just helped one guy build silo missiles(stopped when I saw the small damage missile used on mex, ok we had no good intel) and helped build merlins. Shoulda made em meself me thinks. Resign faster.

There are good people in this community though that do usually perform tasks assigned to them. Having VC works quite well, but gets chaotic sometimes. Would we like to see people performing these tasks more? Yes, we would. I think part of the issue is raising awareness of the tasks needed to be performed. Maybe try adding labels of people nearby who could complete this task.

If you continue down with this mindset, you essentially open yourself up to being overwhelmed. I would revise this to "If it needs being done immediately, take it on yourself. If it is not time critical, throw it to the PUGs."

I would corret it in such way - 'never expect that your team have telepathic ability to read your mind and do things like you think'. However there is some players working together pretty well even with almost no communication. I can say that DErankJummy is good allied. Also another one is DErankChesti. At least i think that i have best synergy with them when there is no communication. With DErankChesti this also expand in game trolling.

FIrankKapy, you are complaining about the desolator in mid but that was 1500 metal well spent considering it was the only thing retaining mid for us and allowed us to control +2 mexes over the enemy. It easily paid for itself several times over.

At one point I had 3 merlins attacking their porc, 2 funnels holding mid with the desolator...

Where was everyone else's units? Maybe if we had any army to hold middle and defend the merlins I would not have needed to spent a meagre 1500 on a desolator.

The simple fact is no-one else was attacking and the merlins and porc I had in middle were not leveraged.

That silo could have won the game easily given a little bit of scouting, but it was used atrociously.

Seriously, someone sneak a scythe or widow close and then start sniping tremors, berthas, lances, cerberus... With a few choice inferno hits where there are things that aren't showing on radar (kill those cloakers!).
