Hey, why the FUCK dont blastwings blow up when they are ordered to attack a target.
The target is just sitting there like a retard, stunned to shit, and the blastwings are ordred to attack it.
so they fly up, and then decide, well this is a good place to take a break, and just hand out, and then land...
You wonder why so few people play Zero K.
Every game there is an issue.

They're seeking drones, and have a high powered explosive. If something kills them, they feel the brunt of their explosion.

The thing is that the attack command for kamikaze units doesn't actually tell them to explode. A workaround can be added.

As a flying drone explosive, if ordered to attack a unit, they should explode when they arive at the unit.
I have been seeing them chase units and not detonate when they are right on top them, frequently.

I was surprised to see them on hold fire too but they are actually much better that way. You can get them right in front of targets to maximize damage.

well, I use spamming blastwings to counter arti and swarm of raiders with a fight command. if they do not explode when arrived, they may pass those targets then being shot down by aa. I had that too many times so i just complain much about the fire state.

yes, i agree in haven them get closer to maximize damage, thats why you can have a range of aquisition.
Maybe even have it as a blastwing setting, 1 yard, - 5 yards.
if it gets in the aquisition range of a target it detonates.
Make the game more intuitive, not counter intuitive (which is fail)
