Ok, what does it have in common with brawler?

Brawler vs Warthog
Gship - plane -> ok that's the difference you mentioned.
2 nose "gatlings" - 1 nose gatling
VTOL engines right at front - Jet engines in middle
Doesn't fire rockets - fires rockets

So basically the main similarities is "has a gun, can fly". Or did I miss anything?

How about "Rapid-fire dedicated sustained ground-attack aircraft whose major weaponry is a gatling gun".

Everything else matters very little, for example you didn't even mention that it's grey, and brawler is white and that warthog is piloted and brawler is a robot. I was talking about the "in ZK" part as in topic title.

Swift-style combat counts as sustained? And what do you refer to with "dedicated"?

Warthog could be implemented by firing a spam of 100 plasma bullets over 1 second in a very tight cone, and the splash damage of the plasma bullets would emulate the extremely thorough localized destruction created by an A-10 Warthog. This sort of attack would be effective against clustered units of all types, but with a visible limit on damage per square area, and larger targets would eat more damage as expected.

Swift doesn't have to reload, so that would count. Dedicated meaning its foremost target is shooting ground units, and everything else is accidental. Like, say, Brawler.

The Yak in C&C Red Alert worked in a similar way to ZK air units

Eh we have a unit like this already in the game files. Altrough not as badass as A-10 Warthog is. I is called "Kerstel". Besides A-10 cannot be as swift as it is exclusive ground attack aircraft (most notably a tank buster).

Oh and also it is good to notice that the auto cannon in A-10 is not designed to shred infrantry (as it has almost no aoe) but instead to destroy light to medium vechicles such as: infrantry carriers, infrantry support weapons entrenchments etc.
