is it possible to implement such for example when putting building with holding key H?
i.e. build is always allowed (independent of surface/water) and first you choose base altitude where construction will begins.
(i.e. two command queued after order issued:
terraform
and build
)
that should significantly strip needed micro, especially for new players.

P.S. stardust, ddm, behemoth is much more effective after some terraform.
, and mexes some time would be useful to terra down too.

In your example that would be: Hold Alt, select DDM from command menu, release Alt, left click ground, move mouse up/down, click again to confirm.

command menu is not the game interface UI but the gestures menue? or what?

Huh? It's the menu that shows possible unit commands, building tabs, morph options, etc.

The feature can be activated through clicking on the relevant buttons on the Integral Menu.

Please make it function via the gesture menu too. :)

Anarchid, does queuing multiple work? Eg. shift+unit hotkey to queue 5, or ctrl+unit hotkey to queue 20?

normal queuing works.

hold alt/hold shift click defender
release alt/hold shift click pos and raise ground
hold alt/hold shift click defender
release alt/hold shift click pos and raise ground
and so on

ok so only part is wrong: " initial build location is legal"
when you want to build terra platform in water for anti/screamer this function should work too.

and it also should work on any bad terrain which could be fixed with terraform.

p.s.
holding alt before selecting is weird, so i overlooked it in news, sorry.

Probably but I was not able to use the hotkey while holding Alt.

I do not know how to put it into gestures, what sort of UI would make sense?

Is it possible for the green outline drawn for terraforming actions to remain visible after placing the order, but muted to be less visually distracting?

That would allow for manual queuing up a line of buildings in the area being terraformed to be level, such as pre-queuing a line of razors to create a hardened wall.
