Dirtbag mound

Dirtbag terraforming is very annoying. It completely renders hovers and tanks useless in some maps. And even bots have problems in many cases. I think mound after dirtbag death should be removed. Some games become completely messed up because of them. And building constructor army for restoring is bit expensive tactics.

how about the spike left behind will decay till its back to normal within 2 minutes or such?

mojjj will that have a big performance impact? Terraforming is very CPU heavy

That's half the point of doing dirtbag spam. It's easily reversed with a tremor though.

I kinda disagree with this sentiment. The amount of dirtbags it takes to completely clog up a path is pretty metal intensive, and usually dirtbags in that density also stops other bots from passing over as well

The only place where dirtbag terraforming really annoys me is on the
following map (Bridge) :
https://zero-k.info/Maps/Detail/18434
[FolsomDamDeluxeV4] ,

If you think about the unit dirtbag logically , Dirtbag dead > Dirt lies on the map > Dirt flies away through the wind?
So I think DErankAdminmojjj suggestion is not so bad, but as GBrankPresstabstart has already noted, I do not know how much power / CPU (or whatever) is needed or how the overall programming effort is....

To ZArankAstran contribution:
If you just have a tremor this is certainly helpful, but to make extra one for an area ,then you can also flatten the terraform manually again (which is probably cheaper depending on the area) :D

But you cannot build tremor with hover factory, also tremor is expensive.

Dirtbag spam is annoying in many maps. They are cheap and can overwhelm front line very quickly. Its cost is only 30 metal. I would not be against if it receives another buff if terraform option will be removed.

Also its very annoying in this one - http://zero-k.info/Maps/Detail/57781

I think you can also use Ripper to level ground. They used to be called "Leveller" back in the old days, before French fries became freedom fries.

Nope dirtbags use heavy isotope nuclear waste enriched with glue as a filling. It sticks to everything that came in contact and poisons them. Radiation is so heavy, even electric circuitry suffers. All units should get a permanent 30% slow after contact with dirtbag mound, until death. Also their metal should not be reclaimable. And if we consider decay of the mound, the radiation should slowly creep around the map, ending the game after a while, due to units and structures suffering damage.

C'mon folks, dirtbag could use a slight buff.

I think my variant sounds better than something with nuclear for 30 metal, and stop even thinking about all the crazy effects of a 30 EXPENSIVE DIRTBAG....
