As A 14 Year old vet to this game and it community I will say my part and say it a absolute mistake to limit the big player rooms.
You kill off any potential player if they can't even get in the game. It better in the game then not in the game at all.
It sucks when the room is full and there is a queue to even play and some games can last hour or more. I believe 32 is a good number and I think even larger would be better.
There is a saying, bigger the better. Big Epic Battles is what made zero K fun. Slowly over the years I have seen zero K kill itself in the pursuit of some idea of the game needing to be "balanced" in my eyes the fun bits of zero K when it was in its infant years was the unique strategies that players could create which included "uber commanders" and these uber commander players was all part of the game.
Yeah there is a elo system and to be honest in my eyes the game will never be balanced it should always be about having fun and creating memories with other people online crafting a sense of community.
Over the years I have seen zero K become a less tamed version of itself and frankly it not that fun anymore and lower player counts further removes those late nights where you say one more round because your having such a funny time because some dudes are going all "rambo" or someone is "rushing" or whatever but the point is I feel like there been a lot of changes and people need to remember zero K is a game and it's the community which makes me come back and the fun and unique strategies you can employ.
