1v1 elo ladder

Why there are people on 1v1 elo ladder whose are higher than people with higher elo rating? I mean for example rz3l0s[CA] - 1599 elo now and 29th place - above for example 1719 elo NeonSturm at 30th place. Isn't it some kind of bug, or what?
I couldn't see that happens on team elo ladder. Always on 1v1. Why?

You should explain the malus. It's an extra calculation that reduces a person's elo from their true elo, because they are still fairly new with few games.

The elo you see in the lobby for balancing purposes is true elo minus malus. The elo you see in the ladder is just true elo, but I assume it's being ordered by elo minus malus. That is not ideal.

Perhaps anyone with malus still above zero should not be included in the ladder. Once they play enough games and their malus is zero, rank them in the ladder.

That'd be a really simple fix CarRepairer, and sounds sensible.

I still like CarRepairer's suggestion. I'm hoping it'd stop Godde's non-ZK account showing up in the ladder occasionally. :)

Oh, thanks. IMHO it should be fixed, just because it's looking strange. CarRepairer's suggestion is good; alternatively ladder could include players with malus, but not their malus(so it would probably include the same players, but wouldn't look like bugged). Just a proposal.
