Dear users,

Due to some glitch in Spring, adult photo sharing[/img] the game messed positions of various widgets. It happens often, but this time it prevents upgrading my commander.

Is there any (undocumented?) feature that allows to move the widgets around? I know, that reinstalling the game will help, but what if I wanted to actually change the built-in positions of some widgets? Maybe someone can point me to a relevant config file?

I use Ubuntu 16.04 Linux, with Chobby lobby client.

Try Ctrl+F11 to move UI elements around.

When playing hide-and-seek, the best hiding places are 4-levels deep in the menu.

The solutions above will fix your problem. However, you bring up a larger problem. You have fallen victim to the practice of maintaining everyone's old UI settings throughout UI updates. This wards off many complaints but it also means that most people's UI is snapshot of the UI whenever they started playing. In the latest UI changes I've solved the problem of Spring resizing and moving everything around.

I think I'll make an option to not keep the UI updated to the default, give people a few weeks to set it, and then activate the option.

The new UI looks like this:

I have not yet set it as the default but I plan to shortly. Some bits need work (eg. playerlist removal) but CZrankAdminLicho seemed ok with it.
