Start time is 18:00 UTC, Saturday 5th May.

Format


Players will be split up into groups of approx. 8 players. Each group will have players of approximately equal skill (hopefully).

Each group plays a best-of-1 single elimination bracket - win three games in a row to become the champion of your group!

In the past we have run tournaments with different structures (see for example the last 2v2 tournament) but this format seemed like a good fit at the moment to try to make sure everybody has good games.

Just to clarify, there won't be a finals bracket afterwards - you play to win your group.

Ideally each group will have players of similar skill level.

I would like to participate, although I am relatively new. Hopefully the matchmaking won’t be too bad.
