Hello brave developers!

This forum section is about developing new things and getting help when doing that.

For suggestions please use general forum section.
For bug reports please use help forum section or (preferably!) ticket system at github

To get started check out this wiki article Developing

If you already have commit access, you can also talk with other developers in zkdev channel ingame, otherwise use ordinary zk channel please.

spring://chat/channel/zkdev

You really promoting #zkdev without explaining for what zkdev is after:
* http://pastebin.com/TEtDREU8 (I argued that less than about 900 range is bad for non-cloaking, non-shielded, imobile-while-shooting AA and Saktoth+KR supported !mute)
* http://pastebin.com/WmbNAErB Something got ignored or spamed away...
* I feel confused if it is now an elite-channel or something which can everybody read and only some ppls write into (without mute)

(with promote I mean: click-able #zkdev instead of #zk link = invite everybody into #zkdev per default?)

I logged on and the 'recent posts' stretched almost the full page. "Woah, what happened", I thought. Neonstorm happened.

Seriously, you don't have to post in every damn thread. I've told you a dozen times, if you want anyone to listen to you you need to be coherent and succient, not post rambling spam.

"Maybe there is some bit incoherence because I am not a native English or American and because of the many wrong statements or off-topic stuff before my posts, but they are not the worst."

The fact that you are not a native english speaker is understandable and most people can overlook having errors in grammar and spelling. But a lot of times your posts have several inane(silly, stupid, not significant) points -- and this is the source of "WTF, IonStorm is talking in here?".

I will try to explain:
Licho makes a post informing potential new developers where to post bugs/suggestions, how to get svn access... helpful things people who want to contribute should know.

You post in reply to this:
1.) what is zkdev for?
2.) I'm butthurt because I get muted in zkdev.
3.) We should always be talking in at least one channel, long silences are uncomfortable

If I have interpreted your post incorrectly, I apologize, this is what I get from your post.

What is wrong with your reply:

1.) This thread is in the "Development" section. It starts out, "Hello brave developers!". Licho explicitly states "you can talk with other developers in zkdev" -- you ask "what is zkdev for?". Do you begin to see my point? This question is asking something THAT HAS JUST BEEN ANSWERED.

2.) Completely off-topic. If you feel wronged about getting muted, talk to the mod who muted you, or at the very least make a separate thread. Don't bring your drama into a thread aimed at new developers.

3.) WTF?! I honestly don't even know what to say to this one.

4.) Everything after the edit was directed at Saktoth and off-topic, but I think that you know that since you've changed colors.

So now you see the entirety of your post was either A) completely off-topic or B) severe WTF this makes no sense. So I hope this has been at least a little informative into how people-who-are-not-NeonStorm think of and see your posts.

(Everything after Licho's post is completely off-topic btw, I'll try and move it if I can)
