Getting pretty fucking tired of losing sea games because fucking sirens decide to cosplay as artillery and fling useless missiles at raiders killing the actual artillery rather than actually attacking them with a weapon that can hit them.

I don't understand why Siren A-move hasn't been fixed yet, 90% of situations you want them to move in range of their actual guns. If I wanted them to stay at range then I'd build actual artillery for that purpose. Sirens are riot-assaults, they should act like it.

If they treated their sonic gun as their maximum range then you would have to use hold position to make them not walk into defenses that they are bombarding, and you would only be able to set a target with Set Target. That sounds like a poor tradeoff.

The siren's 25 dps for 600 metal dumbfire missile is not particularly relevant. Them being actually useful for their real job vastly better. It's to the point where I'd rather they didn't have the missile at all if that meant they behaved sanely. I don't see why they need to cosplay as artillery anyhow; ships has plenty of actually good long ranged options without needing to use a shitty one.

One thing I learned about ZK transitioning from an Ok player to a better player was that attack move is very rarely your friend. I used to love using it. Now, move and area/manual target are most frequently preferred. Maybe you will find that the same is useful to you.

This is the big reason I need specific examples to fix problems to do with attack-move and unit AI. I rare let an attack-move command run itself for long enough for problems to become noticeable.
