I have tried over and over to rename so that my username is in the right format. However, every time I do, it makes a new user instead or doesn't recognize my username and password. Can anyone help?

How do you rename? How do you know it makes new user?

so what happens when you try this?
"/rename [TUPM]TheDarkMushrom"
Then the server disconnects you
Then you log in with
[TUPM]TheDarkMushroom
and the same password as before.
Where/when does it get stuck?

It can't recognize the username/password. I put in the new ones, but it fails. I decided just to start over with a new user.

What do you mean it makes new user? It logs you out and you must log in with new login name..
It works.. login back to your old account and rename it.

When I log into my old account, it shows everything I have, but in actual games it acts like I am a new user.

Only use lobby ingame rank to decide if its new or old acocunt. Find your old account with higher rank in lobby. You can completely ignore website stuff, it can be out of sync until you login to lobby after rename.

I located your original acocunt. I pmed it to you, it was [TUPM]DarkMushoom
(without "r")
That account has all your old stats.

What failed? Your old account works. We checked database.

You must log in in LOBBY, not here!
Do not log on the website. Log in in lobby.
Do /disconnect and then log in using old account.
And only after you do that log in to website.

I disconnected, relogged with the old user, and it didn't recognize it at all. I tried several versions, and my current user, [TUPM]TheDarkStar, is the onlyone that worked.

Can't you make it so each player has only one account, without all this renaming hassle? For example, there should be only one login, and zero-k software would auto-add clan's tag to player's nick, when he is in that clan.
