I have a few issues with the game

Can there be a button in the options that disables the [Join now 1v1 match!] that appears at the top of the screen whenever anyone is idling in matchmaking?
If there is one, it is obtusely named and/or otherwise inaccessible as I've looked quite a bit in the options for it. Pardon me if I'm blind and cannot find it. Alternatively, allow that little join now message to have an X button that closes it.
It's not that I don't want to matchmake 1v1, but that there's few if no opponents of my level on it and its just usually a single blue star ranked player idling in there looking for a game. Plus the message is very catchy and visible due to colors and how much screen space it takes, which is a good thing mind you, but I personally find it a bit annoying.

Can the game not ask constantly if I want to send stats/stuff to Github or whatever, every time I close it?
Or rather, can it have a checkbox that stops it from doing that message forever, since for whatever reason, it hides itself in the background whenever I exit from the game and continues eating resources/occupying RAM so I have to doublecheck and see if i'm not running the game whenever I quit because of that message.

Sometimes when I'm ctrl-grouping units, it starts selecting units that I din't even click at all like engineers (I'm assuming it's a micro error from me and I'm accidentally hitting the ctrl+key for something else by accident, but still). Refuses to actually group them into a number at times, sometimes even changes the number that they're supposed to be on (probs my error too) and generally there's no visual indication of actually there being control groups outside of pressing the number button to check, unlike in other RTS games. Most of this stuff happens when a lot is happening on the screen and I'm zoomed out to actually deal with multiple fronts. More visual feedback (as long as it doesn't clutter the view too much) can be a good thing for accessibility.

I guess others could also discuss about little nitpicks and stuff that... doesn't seem to be discussed that much? I tried looking for a thread similar to this to voice my concerns but din't find one in the first few pages.

This is the matchmaker :P
If you look under Multiplayer/Matchmaking you get a menu where you can choose what kind of games it should try to find for you.
I guess the 1v1 is default enabled?

Well that's the thing.
I never selected to join matchmaking at all. It just pops that automatically whenever i'm idling in another game or looking for a game to join in the lobby browser.
It doesn't really have any options on it. Nor anything to disable that. I was actually super confused about it the first time it popped up and thought I did something wrong/selected matchmaking by accident or something but no it just spams anyone whenever there isn't people queueing.

This only happens if there is an error. It would be good to find out what kind of error causes this for you.
I agree that it would be good to add an option to disable this permanently.

Sounds fine. https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/Chobby/issues/849

It isn't sending stats, it's detected an error and wants to send logs. Click yes, then it should open a report in your browser. Paste the link here and we'll try to fix it.

I'm not quite sure what is happening. Could you figure out some way to reproduce the problem and write it here?

I think he wants to permanently click "no" though.

Ah alright. I mean, I think it has happened a few times that the game would suddenly crash on loading a map. Usually on big lobpot 32 player games, which I guess it's kinda normal? I'm used to this sort of stuff happening to me, things just crashing at random on high load stuff. Was more concerned about the whole "this contains all chatlogs" so I instinctively said... No.
If it happens again I'll post about it.

I think it's mostly just me fumbling with the keyboard in some way or another, but usually I have units grouped to Ctrl+2,3,4 for commander, main army, artillery/skirms, sometimes Ctrl+1 for specialty units like Phantoms or Transports. Sometimes, when I press Ctrl+3 or 4 to add more to that, it selects all engies, which I'm guessing it's just hitting Ctrl+E or R by accident? I have not changed my default controls though, so I'm a bit confused since the wiki says the default is Ctrl+B?
Though, I do think part of it may be an issue of the game just dropping frames at times, that it would also 'delay' adding units to a control group, meaning if I try to Ctrl+# something when its dipping, it doesn't register the input at the moment I have them selected and thus removes the control group entirely because I'm doing Ctrl+# when the game thinks nothing is selected.
Maybe I should be using Alt groups? I'm reading the wiki on the subject of hotkeys and I din't know you could set an autogroup. That's like, super useful. I'm used to the old style of selecting a group, adding newly produced stuff with Ctrl+Z then Ctrl+# to add them to the group.

Eitherway. I'm sorry if most of what I said just seems like personal non-issues and stuff. I like the game a lot and it is quite a lot of fun to play.
