Heres a video of an old definitely op meta

Idk if its just me, but lately I feel like big teams all welcome is kindaaaaa dry, not many memes and tricks like we used to have. I suggest we readers try to think of some experimental tricks or memes and just use them, like the commdrops in the video, and just some silly stuff. The revenenant spire was great imo, someone experimented something new and it worked out greatly, we should do more of these or simmilar. This game is different than other rts games, theres so much tricks and memes to do and i feel like they arent being used enough.
Not saying everyone should ditch playing front and troll only but you get what I mean

The same story happens in every game. When a new game comes out or a new wave of players appear in an existing game, everything needs to be figured out. People fall for dumb tricks. Said dumb tricks are revealed to be dumb as effective counters are found and players become aware of said tricks and counters.

Some time passes and people have tried so many different things, it is very hard to come up with something new that is actually effective without devs adding something new to the game.

Case in point, and tooting my own horn a little here, space blimps in Multiplayer B1761293 28 on Ditched_V1 @ 55% is the last thing I saw that people had not seen yet and didn't know how to counter.

CArankGalamesh, that's because there was no counter, you can't counter something that flies up 10km to the air out of vertical range of 5 Artemis, has infinite vertical range itself and a disintegrator that goes through shields and one shots everything besides Paladin and Detriment. It was just a bug, and sure am glad it was fixed.

Great use of it while it lasted though.

that's one of the reasons I'm trying to focus on the story aspect of the game: The game's image is developed enough that cool tales can be forged out of its gameplay. The only section of the game I (at the very least) didn't figure out is sea battles, besides one important trick: Always build one naval base in team battles, and make sure that it's a well-protected one (I did not test it before. That being said, the naval battles have a lot of discoveries to be made). My motto is: Learn the game, Build the story

I think that it's a good mindset to have.

unknownrankFaynthasyn that's what I am saying though. I didn't say it was fair/balanced, just that surprises are hard to find until something new is added to the game.

That, or new players come in and they don't know tricks yet, so old stuff is a surprise to them.
