CPU: AMD Ryzen 4700u
GPU: Radeon Integrated Graphics
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
SSD: NVMe
OS: windows 11 pro
HP
Notes:
1. the game used to work just fine back in 2022, the issue appeared after my return in the recent months.
2. APM tracker Disabled
3. Graphics settings lowest
4. the game stopped sending me to the loading screen of a match (Multiplayer) after its start, instead, i just stay in the lobby room, need to press alt tab to go to the actual game battle, tho, it was fixed after modifications done in Note #5
5. ATI comp was tested, didn't make an fps difference but it did fix the issue where now the game actually sends me to the loading screen of the actual game, however, the game still sends crash reports after each match that i spec or play
6: the game doesn't consume all my ram, cpu, gpu, ive got a stable internet connection
7: ive tweaked my windows with the following: stopped many of the telemetry services, location services, and other stupid services; stopped windows update.
8: GPU and cpu drivers are up to date
9: turned off the steam overlay and did most of the things on the performance optimization guide from the wiki
10: restarted my laptop
11: did kick it a bit, didn't work either.
12: sometimes it happens after 30min of a large team game, sometimes after 20min in a small map, sometimes it doesn't happen in a not very small map at all, even though that match was close to 40 min! happened today.
TIA!

Hi,

falling behind means the simulation on your laptop can't keep up.
Generally this game is CPU bound, and it's mainly single-thread performance that matters.

The more units there are on the field, the heavier the burden on the CPU.
Any kind of AI also takes up some of the CPU.

If your laptop is considered "too old" or not, I can't say.
But, it is indeed plausible that something has changed (engine or game-side) to require a strong computer.

Happens to me too. Ryzen 7 on kubuntu.

Sometimes luaui crashes, and the games pickup, returning to normal fps.
Someone said it have something to do with small map rendering...

If i use the dedicated gpu (nvidia) the game shows random fps lag (going from 100 to 2-3) for a few seconds.

Hi all
Yes, Windows 11 with only 8 go .... I think this is a great weak point

BRrankmuffa, that sounds like a different issue. But, perhaps an easier one to solve if you can figure out which lua widget/gadget is acting up and/or under which circumstances.

Not sure how you measure how much CPU zero-k is using, but if it uses ~100% of one core then you are probably hitting the limit.

Personally I have found that it helps to close the web-browser when playing in large teams, but YMMV.

For those on Windows, do you have the 24H2 update installed? I installed that last night and I now have horrible permformance issues in many games and general computing.

I used the restore point from before the update to roll back and everything is working normally again.

24H2 seems to have SEVERE performance issues.
