Oh yes, this is maybe a good moment for something I wanted to say at some point anyway:
It seems most people attribute "bad" sound to their microphone, to which I am happy to tell you that buying a cheap audio-interface will already make such a big difference you are probably not going to believe it. This is because PCs almost never have shielded connections. The signal degradation you hear is the sum of artifacts caused by all the digital signal processing in the background that tries to de-noise the original input. A shielded signal does not have that noise to begin with. Thus you get rid of all the processing. If you are still not really happy with your sound, THEN you can look for microphones.
And: just continue to make videos, you will get better with editing and sound every time you do it. Like every other skill.
I asked about DaVinci because it is free and contains like 95% of what you would need as a professional editor. I do stress that this is no commercial, because I think there is simply no reason to buy the full version until you need to think about business licenses and so on. I use it, and ALMOST every time I have seen the editing screen of some youtuber, it was DaVinci.
I guess that sounds pretty specific already, but the info is here if you want to use it.
(And no, I have no ZK-videos, 100% of what I do in the video-world is for myself and would need severe seizure-trigger warnings anyway.)
