One thing that always bothered me with this game is how LOUD it gets in peaks when multiple sounds play at the same time.
You can observe it with repeated bombing, but more specifically, you can notice it if you have a setup like multiple phantoms on hold fire and commanded to shoot at a target all at the same time. All the effects will play at the same time and add noise levels resulting in a very loud bang relative to the average sound level.
It makes it practically impossible to control volume. Any sufficiently busy match starts with extremely low volume, gradually ramping up to a constant very loud chain of explosions.
Is there a setting I missed that allows to cap how loud any sound can get, or somehow tune multiple sounds playing at the same time so they don't stack?
