But we have no Air-Arty at all !!!

Arty should be weak to everything and slow. Air is immune to many things, importantly assaults and, if high enough, raiders. Air is also fast.

So I don't think we need air arty.

I still want an arty gunship. Make it priced like a Blackdawn, move like a Sumo, and shoot like a Hammer, I don't care, it'd still be a neat toy.

There's been a long-range bomber once. It had a missile similar to Licho's that did not track its target and had the range of a firewalker/pillager or something like that. It was pretty much invulnerable due to its range and speed as far as I remember, though that's only a side-info. :)

I still remember the LRPC plane in the concept fac :P

I can see something like that as a superweapon, but not as a run-of-the-mill artillery gunship.

Does the Gunships really need artillery? I mean, As long as their not entrenched with AA(at which point a person should be tech switching to some power arty like hammer spam or tremors) black dawns do a preety good job agianst porc.

I know that Licho was OP, but Licho had long range AND HIGH DAMAGE.

Krow as a Arti gunship?
Because of it's low altitude it's weaker than a hover unit with same HPs - it take damage from AA weapons and ground weapons and is slow enough for that role.

It is a survival unit - It needs a long range weapon to be a real fortress :D
The current Krow is a blockade breaker with AA fear.

let's place a hammer on the top of it ( maybe some extra range because of the big collision sphere of Krow ).

The current Krow is not a blockade breaker at all! It is a blockade runner - it tries to charge through, or (thanks to its mobilits) rather to go around defenses to take out singularities, mohos, nukes, windgenfarms, etc.

Yes, but you forget the Big range of Chainsaws, and that it drops a wreckage with more metal than even a half singularity, nearly as much metal than a half nuke silo, and more metal than medium wind farms.

Mohos cost only 1500 metal and also deals some damage to the low range Krow.

If the Krow would be more arty it can kill it without running into 2 or 3 rapid build Flaks.

If only 2 nanos are assigned to each of 2 or 3 Flaks, and somewhere is a chainsaw, Krow fails very hard.

Because you get the metal for this AA from wreckage and Krow drains a lot of metal till it can be used, it's inefficient.

don't make counter gunships so easy.

Nerf Chainsaws, add range
Buff Flaks

Or add some Arty gunships

Krow is noobtrap it attack is so weak and its so easily countered by aa even if the krow got repair backup. Something like a light artilery on it would make it more of a threat.

air dont needs arty. Why? Air is fast and have no problmes to move to a target.
your enemy have just the cance to build enough AA. IF the gunships get now a arty-units its to op. and i dont see a need of that.

(shields are senseless against air, be cause they can easyaly walk under, and to kill other units you can fly to your enemy and qiuckly back.)

Have you ever seen how fast 2 Chainsaws kill a Krow?
And how many time you need for repair a Krow?
That each long range ground unit is very effective against them?



Chainsaw has a bigger range then the most Arti units.
You can build a big Bertha if you want a really invulnerable unit.

It is true and good that ground units hit the Krow hard.
But because the combination of speed / range and the time it needs to kill even a small bulk of units it is under powered.
If we don't give it a time-limited speed booster it can't handle even a bulk of snipers.
( have someone tried to stun a Krow with Rakeeters or spys :D )

An arty cannon should only do damage like a minelayer vehicle, but it should enable it to hit penes and kill short range stuff like a flak over time.

Or do you really expect that one flak protect you against a 5k metal unit?

Krow needs buff because even now when you use it the proper way (by having alot of repair support) its still weak you are better off spending that 5k metal in brawlers.
