This map is way too porcy. The hills should be shallower and the reclaim features should be crushable.

Hypothesis: any non-flat map (such that it contains any terrain obstacles) with one side being longer than other by a multiplier greater than 2, will be porcy.

Maps should never exceed the golden ratio! There you go.

I find it odd that this is listed in 1v1 maps when it was clearly designed solely for team games, I mean there's a lot of maps which are of similar size/design that don't get featured for 1v1, not sure what makes this one special

That being said, I do enjoy playing it in 1v1, mainly because it's macro heavy and it's impossible to fuck up the econ :)

I think it is fine for 1v1. I'd say it favors a land start to grab mexes quickly without much room for raiding and then you can do an air switch and start pushing.

I like 1v1ing on it I just dont understand what sets it apart from all the other similar team maps like Bluebend, Terra or Eye of Horus (off the top of my head) those could just as easily be included in the 1v1 map pool, but they aren't, why is that?

Well I can play 1v1 on any map although I do have the feeling that larger maps are all about mobility so raiders, gunships and airplanes dominate and the game quickly resolves as one player gets ahead in expansion without slower units being able to be utilized.

BlueBend and Terra are pretty open maps so I think that many players feel that they are too much to handle in 1v1.

Removed 1vs1 tag

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
If 1v1 is already porcy then anything bigger is even worse
Thus you should remove ALL tags and leave this map just for specing (we need SPEC tag)

Yeah, tbh might as well unfeature then.

Would be sad to see such awesome map unfeatured
Textures, heightmap and features are nice, but it's just too small
Don't unfeature IMO, and put the 1v1 tag back

Part of why this map is porcy is
1:No sea to slow you down
2:Reclaim.

You end up with a massive wave of ravagers. Not great for a 1vs1

In that case it would not make sense not to unfeature it as I said

Massive wave of ravagers is porc?

You just terra each ravager high up to give it more range and claim it to be "static defence".
