I've had a look at this game. It is a game of few discrete actions so I think I can say a lot about what I did wrong.

After Raven I made Swift then Hawk. This could be ok except that I sent my Raven in before this was done and lost it. I kept engaging my fighters when I had less then rANDY.

The death explosion on a Mex is large enough to cause my Solars to close. This hit me for about 50 energy each time on top of the cost of rebuilding my mex. Energy was my main problem which is why I had 3 Solars.

I anticipated that rANDY would quickly switch into land so I made Pyros. But they are really bad against planes.

Skasi should impart his hidden knowledge of force open micro on solars.

Force open micro? If that is possible I'll have to find a way to block it. Otherwise the close mechanic is meaningless.

It's as simple as pressing the onoff button again.

(doesn't work if on fire)

Isn't the close mechanic only there to reduce micro-requirement? It really shouldn't be a forced penalty just for taking damage.

I told everyone! You wouldn't listen. :(
With old Moderator this wasn't that big of a problem, you could at least support defenderspam and decrease bomber's dps.

No it is also so you can poke the Solars closed as a weak form of raiding.

Sounds silly.

Poking solars closed as a form of raiding is still a good thing to do, as if your opponent wants to force them open again, he has to spend real time doing it instead of something else. It was the same way as in OTA and I think it's fine.

My bomber went to bottom left originally as I decided I wanted to wait until you walked your Commander a bit before bombing the big mex, then I saw your bomber and had to change plans.
