Are you talking about match balance?

Me too, I sucks, having my elo dropping significantly last 10 games. From nearly 1900 to 1600.

Top 5 players rating has increased lately.
I guess it is trickle up economics.

dear AUrankAdminGoogleFrog, you know how much I appreciate your efforts and who works with you to improve Zk.
But there is something wrong.
Balance is disastrous, I lost how much? 160 elo points in 2 months and almost 2 ranks?
And why? The problem is, I don't know.
I even seem to have improved some flaws in my game (some nastier will say that's not true at all :)), but I keep losing games after games. I went to watch the replays, and what's wrong is the balance.
It is not possible that I always go to the team that has been in trouble from the beginning, and not just my fault.
But does the balance also take into account the rewards (trophies) of the players or just the elo?
I mean, if a player has 1500 terraforming rewards, are they calculated negatively by the WCR? if it has 3500 trophies for complete annihilation is it considered positively with the same elo?
I also ask for a change in which it is impossible for players to build super weapons and bertha etc .. from the first minutes of the game without having done anything to echo, and that therefore these weapons are only unlocked
after at least 3 fusion (or 1 moho) and then a singu have been built by the team.
Now you can build superweapon.
It is a common sense rule, which already applies in other games, going by step you unlock other options.
See the damage done by this policy:

Multiplayer B957636 21 on Lost_v2
Here none of my team did singu, but in the meantime they built nuke and zenith right away.
(And in fact we lost, few made unity)
If you don't have the money, you can't afford to buy a Lamborghini ...

In my opinion for any game larger than 4v4 luck is quite important. If you care about winning such games, I think it would be beneficial to reassess your position. I do play to win, but if I am in a big game I think it's mostly to forget about other daily problems, rather than to expect to reflect my skills.

If you want to improve rank I would recommend to play at non-popular times (ex: after 23PM European time). Smaller games give higher rewards, plus you will have larger impact on the game.

I doubt that restricting super weapons will fix the bad players playing bad. You will get everybody making singus first, and then build a super weapon.

Edit: my rank increased so it's not only the top players ;-).

What you say confirms the rule I stated above, with parts reversed, only that you were lucky to be on the other team.
My proposal is to improve the game itself. To make it more interesting and not a resort to making trenches and who pulls the nuke first (a rather demeaning concept) which in the long run harms Zk, because he currently has no other alternatives to the Wellcome team room (except 1vs1). There was a vote some time ago, and as you say, I also voted for 4vs4 matches, but apparently not if it matters.
Anyway thank you for your advice

I also like playing in Small Teams, rather then Big Teams. The problem is: often there is 30 ppl in Big Teams and no one in Small, while others are in the private rooms. I dont know what anyone can do with this. My only idea is to somehow attract more ppl to the game, so there would be more ppl in different rooms, not just all in the Big Teams. Im doing what I can in this direction, inviting my friends, who havent hear about Zero-K before, to play, but thats all I can do.

Edit: Also we need to do something with storages in team games. A lot of new players build 20 storages and conserve there bunch of metal which his team could use. Every time I see this, I tell to that person, that metal is shared to teammates if he exced it. Sometimes the listen, sometimes not. What if there would be hint which no one can miss? Everywhere. Every time you build storage if you before 100 lvl, you will see hint that metal shared in team games if your storage is full.

RUrankChvaN: if you tell metal is shared, greedy people might still think "I should make more storages so that I do NOT share.". Would also like something to discourage storage building, more than explaining. Idea: for team games, make storages depend on unit numbers! Make one storage per 10 attack units (or for 2k unit value)! Problem solved ;-)

ITrankmanero: a solution to so many games being 16v16 would be nice, but for now, when I play in that, I "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.".

Imo the giant "lobsterpot" is the worst part of ZK, and the reason I rarely play teams games. Balance is bad and the gameplay is boring and very slow paced. There needs to be a hard cap of 16 players per room, and there needs to be multiple active rooms during peak times.

The poll indicates that 8v8 games please many fewer people than small teams OR 16v16, though. It's a problem.

I voted for 9 vs 9.

6 vs 6 allow variety starting factories.

And 9 vs 9 allow pushing in the beginning with multiple air players on one side.

Nah, after the 3-5 storages have been built, they build something else and surprisingly lack metal and income to built it with their average of 4 caretakers. Storages mostly remain empty.

Delete stupid storage. Shared income anyway, overflow gets shared too... Allow for storage/2nd commander baby with storage module equivalent after first com dies. 99,9% of my games I build 1 storage after my com dies and thats it.

4v4 does seldom seem balanced. 7v7 max is what we need. Also, I cant host battleroom that has 7v7 limit? Am I blind? And cant set whr limit?

And about balance... this game is weird for some people it seems. Sometimes I suddenly get easy battles after easy battles, then suddenly shit battles after shit battles. A month or so ago I had big lobsterpot easy-feeling wins 16(or 26? Cant remember, maybe 16) in a row(!!1what how, must have been luck). That was weird as hell. And my summer trip to visit purple had many easy battles suddenly, followed by tons of shit battles to drop down to where I belong.

are you playing 1v1? because there storage is a useful thing.

I dont play 1v1 really. So, good point. Maybe stupid storage exists only in big games, and more intelligent storage exists in 1v1.

I dont quickly build big defense stuff to front too, so before that point is also brought up, there is that, one more very minor good use for storing metal.

Anyway this was about balance...

Playing on anything higher than 8v8 means either teaming up and dog piling someone or just giving up the notion of influence. This is usually why I team up with FIrankterve886 or PLrankSparkezelPL. Having the ability to counter the bs meta of arty porc is nice. Arty porc is strong in big teams simply because of the lack of individual metal. Games are almost always below 15m/s per player and any attempts at raiding just get squashed.

Its eitber you rush a point or do something moderately insane or you just make eco. Which then you run into other issues here. Too many people attempting to do non Frontline stuff or being aggressive means that you run into saturation failure where you simply don't have enough force spread across the front to saturate it.

It probably would be best to have more people on vc. Perhaps if you're dissatisfied you could try mercing with the various clans. Joining clan stacks as an auxiliary might help with the satisfaction piece of your complaint. If you're concerned about English then even more of a reason to join vc. Even if youre on opposite sides having vc can help make things less shit.
