the drastic effects of shockleys are highlighted on maps with narrow fronts like this.

I note that superweapons have been nerfed over time, they're more manageable now.

Agree. If they hit once in a mid-late game context the player can probably keep the target stun-locked by sending more at a cost of 13m/s.

For nerfs i'd recommend something significant like +100m cost and -10s stun time. They'd get built anyway.

It'd also give a healthy indirect nerf to nukes.
