Another game where hovers are unable to resist spiders because they have a terrible slowdown when trying to drive at an angle. Why is this done? There is no reason why they have such a deceleration multiplier. Spiders move in all directions without any problems, which is why they have better vectors of attack and interception of attacks. In general, I will no longer use hovers on this map.

The Hover slope penalty feels harsh these days when the Amph factory is fleshed out and a common pick on any wet map, and has units that benefit from terrain or ignore it via Lobster. Balancing Hover less around elevation changes seems like it would be a good direction to take since Amph should be able to act as a counterweight on (most) mixed wet maps.
